Spring sprouted early for us this year as we have been riding a crazy weather roller coaster with temps in the 90s one day and in the 30s the next...all the trees and bulbs have popped but are shaking their heads wondering what's up! The daffodils have in fact been smiling for a week or so now so they are a little early to their party which will take place on Nantucket from April 23-25 with the island's annual Daffodil Days.
Nantucket is not the only spot to celebrate spring by honoring these happy yellow faces-Daffy events are happening all over the country most notably the American Cancer Society's Daffodil Days the annual fundraising event offering Daffodils to donors as a symbol of hope, a lovely way to honor or support.
