I have ALWAYS been the ASK HER! Girl-the original IDEA source. As a designer and marketing consultant creative ideas are what my days are all about.

It often seems as if everyone and their Aunt turns up on my doorstep searching for... creative gift ideas, design consulting,vacation guidance, party planning,menu suggestions,shopping clues ... and even love life advice!

I have come to realize that what is simply breathing for me is often daunting and panic attack producing for many. So I thought why not share the things I have found that make me smile, maybe help take away some stress, and in the process spotlight the special.

When it comes to finding the "that's exactly what I wanted" and the "have to have" you are in a good place to play .

Strands of Pearls also celebrates some of my favorite things- curling up with a book that makes you forget which century you are in, watching any Cary Grant movie, reading cookbooks, planting hydrangeas, poking through antique shops in search of whatever you are collecting this week, planning the perfect getaway,buying a new bag!,redecorating your home and maybe even your life...and oh if you are going to spend time with me, there is a good chance you will be knitting!
